these sketches started as a way to continue to document a constantly changing landscape. almost 2 years ago i started working for a gallery on the lower east side and noticed how the neighborhood has shifted. i started documenting my experiences to try n articulate my thoughts better. i was also in charge of all the signage in the gallery and started painting and drawing on the wall and glass for every exhibition. i enjoyed the meticulous attention to detail. from these thoughts i created some current artworks.
